Keysource have joined this organisation because of the synergy between our approach to Data Centre Design and ongoing management and the Green Grid’s principals for measuring Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) in the Datacentre and the Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER).
As part of a range of services promoting greater energy efficiency in UK’s data centre’s, Keysource are offering a high level Energy Efficiency Audit of your facility. This audit will benchmark key data to help you to understand the carbon footprint of your facility and where and how it could be reduced. The Audit adheres to measures set out by The Green Grid and reflects both EER and PUE of your data centre.
Keysource are offering two types of audits:
Type-1 Audit gives a basic ‘snap-shot’ of your Data Centre’s energy usage, this will establish your Data Centre’s EER and highlight any recommendations moving forward.
Type-2 Audit is more in-depth and gives a ‘signature’ of your data Centre’s energy, over 7 days or greater, and gives much greater detail for improvement in energy utilization eg compliance with Teir/BREEM/LEED/’N’, Single points of Failure etc. This Audit from Keysource may also show how to free up electrical capacity, free up latent space, reduce operating costs and at the same time assist with the deployment of the latest high density IT hardware.
