Bridging the Gap

From Server to Server Room Virtualisation: provisioning increased compute densities

Keysource in conjunction with APC, Sun Microsystems, Future Facilities, Datacentre Solutions and Premises and Facilities Magazine would like to invite you and your colleagues to a free seminar in Manchester on 3rd October.

Seminar Agenda:

The following subjects will be covered by Keysource and their partners:

Bridging the gap: IT and facilities need to work together and use a common language to ensure that facilities are adaptable and scalable to high density requirements.

Improving IT Energy Efficiency: One of the world’s most innovative IT manufacturers, Sun Microsystems will discuss technology initiatives which are driving increased performance and lower energy consumption at microprocessor and server level.

Server Virtualisation: Is there really a “one size fits all” solution to reduce server sprawl and attendant space, power and cooling issues? Sun Microsystems will demonstrate the benefits of virtualisation for increasing server utilisation.

Energy Management: Keysource will discuss the potential impact of environmental legislation on datacentre design and operations, as well as examining strategies for improved infrastructure architecture to increase operational efficiencies and reduce total cost of ownership.

The Virtual Facility: Future Facilities will provide a live demonstration of their 6Sigma DC software, constructing a datacentre in cyberspace and evaluating room layouts and cooling strategies to increase availability and efficiency.

Register Now!
Attendees will be offered a FREE High Level Energy Audit to help establish your datacentre's Energy Efficiency Ratio.

The seminar will last approximately 90 minutes with refreshments and networking at the beginning and end.
